Preggo!

After two tries with IVF, I am finally pregnant. Please note this embryo is not mine. I am surrogate for a gay couple in LA.

Never in my wildest dreams I would be a surrogate. I did not plan on becoming one. I had a great pregnancy with Cinzia, and it was a healthy one. However, my circumstances at that time were not ideal. Alex and I were financially stable, and we were just starting. It was stressful. I wanted to experience that again with NO stress. So here I am. Being paid for it will not hurt at all.

Alex and I met the couple in person at CPK two Decembers ago, and we hit it off. That was followed with trips to the clinic in Santa Monica.

I decided to blog this journey because it is life-changing for us and the parents of this embryo. This is not an easy feat. With God's help, I can do this.

Right now, only my parents, Marissa, Donna, Alex, Cinzia, Rose, and 3 co-teachers know. Arjay wants to create a documentary about this. :) We shall see. I plan on not telling my employer about this.
